Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PodSafe mobile application ("PodSafe", "the App", "the Service"), provided by PodSafe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17209828) ("PodSafe Ltd", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PodSafe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

PodSafe lets you discover and listen to podcasts while using on-device speech analysis to detect profanity and produce safety ratings and clean audio variants. All audio processing happens locally on your device; PodSafe does not upload your audio or transcripts anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions & Purchases

PodSafe offers a free tier and optional paid upgrades ("PodSafe Pro"), including auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual) and a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through the Apple App Store and billed by Apple. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Cancelling does not affect access already paid for — your subscription remains active, and PodSafe will continue to provide the subscribed service, for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own refund policies, not by PodSafe Ltd directly.

Third-Party Content

PodSafe provides access to podcasts and related information made available by third-party publishers and content creators, including through publicly available podcast feeds.

Podcast titles, descriptions, artwork, audio, trademarks and other associated content remain the property of their respective owners. PodSafe does not claim ownership of third-party podcast content.

The inclusion of a podcast within PodSafe does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation between PodSafe Ltd and the podcast publisher, creator or rights holder.

Any content analysis, classifications, safety information or other annotations provided by PodSafe are generated by PodSafe and do not necessarily reflect the views of the original publisher or creator.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PodSafe only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Profanity detection and safety ratings are generated automatically and may not catch every instance of explicit content, nor guarantee complete accuracy. PodSafe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PodSafe Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on any safety rating or content filtering result.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or this page. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
